Greetings from 30,000 feet readers! I'm currently blogging from the skies high over...well, I'm not totally sure where (the captain has just told us we're above Hartford), but that doesn't matter! I'm on the internet! On an airplane! For free! +1 for AirTran. Their sub-par equipment (this plane is a little gross) is forgivable with this outstanding internet.
Spent Sunday-Thursday at Oakmont Band Camp, 2009 edition. It was a pretty successful week, and the show is starting to grow on me. The 2009 repertoire is "Last Night in Pompeii", and the last tune, Vesuvius", is pretty sick. Of course, it's always a good time to spend the week with the Oakmont staff, never a dull moment.
Off to DC today for what will no doubt be an EPIC weekend of bro-ing out. JOH arrival tomorrow, TORTILLA COAST, and a trip to Archibalds. Oh, and maybe some historical stuff too, we are, after all in Washington. Maybe we'll stop by the White House and see if Barrack is home.
