Friday!

Two exciting things to update about, and both happened in the span of about 10 minutes.

1.) There is a beehive at the MOS. Whilst in a meeting this morning, we happened to look out the window to see SWARMS (a swarm?) of bees. We looked down to where the hive is, and the bees were pouring out the bottom. After an investigation (which consisted of googling "bee swarms"), we came to the conclusion that it was a bee mating swarm. Fathers, hide your daughters. I'll keep you posted of any and all breaking developments with the bees.

UPDATE: The bees are getting a new queen, thus the ridiculous swarm, and they're looking to start a new hive. Translation: they got the evicted from the hive and need to look elsewhere. Eric is out there taking pictures, so maybe I can post some soon!

2.) I was apparently living under a rock in February while Australia was getting ravaged by wildfires. One of the better stories to come out of the tragedy was the story of Sam the Koala, who was saved from the fires. She was apparently living in a zoo until yesterday, when she was taken to the hospital for emergency surgery to try and get rid of her....wait for it...chlamydia. Yes readers, Koalas are susceptible to the same diseases as you and I. As Miss Alison Hay informed me, "apparently over 50% of them have it....they're not monogamous?" Nope, Koalas are just as promiscuous as we are. Here's a link to the full story. Fortunately, Sam will be with us forever, her remains are going to be put on display permanently in a Melbourne museum. That'll be stop #1 on my next trip to Melbourne.

All this excitement before 11am! Could today get any better?!

I disagree. I believe the Hangover should receive a higher rating than a B. Not an Aplus, but a higher rating is needed.
