Anticipation

I know, the body isn't even cold yet on the 2008 film year, but one of the films that I'm looking forward to most this year (besides Nine, which is released in November) is Quentin Tarantino's new flick Inglorious Basterds (yes, that is the correct spelling). Basically, during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. Sounds awful and amazing. Here are the first teaser posters and trailer.

Also, I have sustained ANOTHER injury, this time a little more serious. After consulting with various sources, it has been determined that I have a mild heel spur. While there is no actual growth, my heel is strained and the tendons are stressed. So, I have to take it easy, no running for a few days, am wearing sneakers ALL the time (cuz they're the only thing that's comfortable), and consuming a considerable amount of drugs. Hopefully this will be one of the last times I'll be sidelined from my training.
